PERC technology is the mainstream technology of the current cell, and TOPcon and HJT may become the mainstream technology of the next generation.
PERC technology: PERC technology is to add a layer of silicon nitride/aluminum oxide film as a passivation layer on the original back electric field technology, and improves efficiency by increasing the lifetime of minority carriers.
TOPcon technology: TOPcon is the abbreviation of tunneling oxide layer passivation contact. Its battery structure is an N-type silicon substrate battery.
HJT technology: Heterojunction (HJT) cells consist of a P-n junction composed of two different semiconductor materials, crystalline silicon and amorphous silicon, so they become heterojunction cells.
And in the production process, HJT's process is also more streamlined, but the production cost will be slightly higher.
However, there is a difference between solar cells and solar modules in efficiency. The reason for this difference is that cell efficiency is calculated as the energy hitting the individual cell, while module efficiency is the whole panel. Since solar panels often have spacing between cells, some energy is lost.
But good quartz infrared heaters will help to produce high-efficiency solar cells and solar modules/solar panels. It is an essential process in the solar industry and is of vital importance.
