Medium wave infrared heaters produce infrared waves of around 2.6-3.5um and operate at 500 – 1,300C degree. Because of their long life, medium wave quartz infrared heaters perform extremely well in continuous processes. Also it is slower in response to changes in process requirement as compared to the short-wavelength lamps and are slower to heat up and cool down. Single tube IR lamps but with only one side connection lead wire.
